He was predeceased by: his parents, Everardo Gonzalez Cervantes and Esperanza Hernandez Cervantes; and his son John Philip Daniel Cervantes. He is survived by: his wife Denise Cervantes; his children, Joanne Cervantes (Nicholas Kucera) and Joshua Cervantes; his grandchildren, Temple, Rafael and Joseph; and his siblings, Magdalena Cervantes, Manuel Cervantes, Martha Luna (Cruz) and Salvador Cervantes (Rosa Reynaga). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (301 S Harrison St, West, TX 76691).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School.
