She is survived by: her husband Matsuo Shimomaye; her daughters, Susan Youko Shimomaye (Wesley Mizutani) and Kathy Taeko Yamaguchi; her grandchildren, Brandon Toshio, Kristen Hiromi Mizutani, Kelli Emiko Yamaguchi and Kyle Kiyoshi Yamaguchi; and her brother Leonard Otoji Tanaka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
