With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mourida Shehata Barsoum (Norco, California), whose life came to an end on May 7, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Mourida may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mourida touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Habib Awad Habashi; her brother Najib Shehata; her father Girgis Shehata (Wahib Shahata); and her child Ezzat Awad (Febee Nashed). She is survived by: her children, Talaat Awad (Nadia Badir), Elia Awad (Fouzia Attani), Nagat Awad (late Ageeb Habashi) and Rafat Awad Habashy (Amal Riad). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
