She is survived by: her husband Richard Chrisman; her daughters, Gina Ferguson, Tammy Simas and Suzy Winovich; her stepchildren, Rick Chrisman, Derek Chrisman and Regina Hoosier; and her siblings, Earl Kurtz, Lilian Kurtz and George Kurtz. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donation be made in memory of Joyce Chrisman to the Ronald McDonald House.
