He was predeceased by: his daughter Valerie; his parents, Wilfrid Day and Zola Day; and his brothers, Richard and Michael.

He is survived by: his wife Milly; and his children, Rowland II (Jaimie), Maureen (Warren Harper), Melinda and Ann. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Newport Beach Stake Center (2150 Bonita Canyon Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660).
