He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jo Ellen Morrison and Robert S. Morrison; and his stepson Howard "Skipper" Pfeifer. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his mother Idawillis; his stepson Brian Pfeifer (Haley); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Pfeifer; and his grandchildren, Mace, Easton, Hudson, Catherine and Charles.

Memorial donations may be made to Cedars-Sinai's Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute in memory of Jon Scott Morrison.
