He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Stapleton and Lilian Stapleton; his wife Rosemary Stapleton; his children, Michael Stapleton (Sally), Cheryl Scott (Warren), Shelly Verwymeren, Stephanie Mikhail (Mondo) and Troy Geitman (Hnin); his daughter-in-law Diane Stapleton Lang; his child Madeline Stapleton; his grandchildren, Rob, Ken, Tom, Justin Faulconer, Kira, Connor Scott, Carly Blake and Nate Mikhail; his great grandchildren, Madison, Kaitlin, Tyler, Christian, Jayden, Parker, Lachlan, Lauren, Caroline, Olivia, MacKenzie, Sean and Ian; his son Edward Francis Stapleton Jr.; and his sister Helen Stapleton.
