He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille May Duarte; and his parents, Emily Duarte, and Thomas Duarte, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Duarte (Kristen), Michelle Inouye (Jimmy) and Angela Balderas (Michael); his grandchildren, Amelia, Josiah, Keoni, Anthony, Alexandria, Vanessa and Jonathan Joshua; and his siblings, Frank Duarte and Marilyn Carter.
