She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria DeSousa and Milagros DeSousa; her husband Bernardino (Portuguese); and her brother Manuel Pereira. She is survived by: her pet Misty; her daughter Nelia Teixeira Chen (John Chen); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan and Casey of Alhambra; her son Nelio Teixeira of Newman; her granddaughter Christina Teixeira (James Pitner) of Sacramento; her son Emanuel Teixeira of Newman; her grandsons, Andrew (Masy Hansen-Teixeira) of Valley Springs, Brady of Petaluma, Jake of Petaluma and Matthew of Newman; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Drew; and her siblings-in-law, Maria Gomes of Gustine, Ana Vicencia of San Leandro, José Enrique Teixeira (Maria Amelia) of Fairfield and Ariel Teixeira of Alameda. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Oldemira Teixeira to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
