She is survived by: her parents, William Lowe and Marjorie Lowe (Pool); her husband Peter Winter; her children, Matthew Winter (Judi) and Amy Winter Turnbull (Ryan); her granddaughter Skylar Turnbull; her sister Susan Thomson (Dale); her nieces and nephews, Brian Thomson and Chris Thomson; and her sister Julie Needham (Richard).

In lieu of flowers Kathy's family is establishing a Memorial Fund in Kathy's name for the Choir at St. Matthew's.
