He is survived by: his children, Neil Markley (Stephanie), Kimberly Torrence Rowan (Leigh) and Molly Torrence; his siblings, Chris (Susan) and Lisa Oliver (Chuck); his grandchildren, Jeremy and Lucia Rowan; and his pets, Scooter and George.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites tax-deductible donations in Jerry's name to the UCLA Brain Tumor Center's brain cancer research efforts.
