It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miguel Ignacio Escalante Sr. (Newark, California), born in Glendale, Arizona, who passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Garcia and Francisco Escalante. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; and his children, Monica Richards, Christina Escalante-Dutra, Alma Rodriguez and Miguel Jr.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
