With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Joseph Sauer (Nevada City, California), born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on April 14, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stella Sauer and Matt Sauer; his wife Bette A. Eisner; his grandfather Ever; his son Bobby Joe; his son-in-law George Duehring; his siblings, Alfred, Paul, Leonard, Arnold, George and Helen Campbell; his son Edward Sauer (Margo); his grandchildren, Stephanie Sauer (Rachel), Krysta Blake (Tyler), Austin Duehring, Aubrey Duehring-Nesbitt and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Duke, Penelope Blake and Jackson Nesbitt. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Robert's family asks that any donations be made to Mt. St. Mary's Academy or that you do something nice for a friend or stranger.
