With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Young (Nevada City, California), who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Don Alexander Young. He is survived by: his former wife Amanda Blankenhorn (Mindy); his daughters, Tracey (Fearnside) and Pennie (Wyatt); and his grandsons, Jack and Charlie Fearnside.
