In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping John's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mel Trokey; and his sisters, Carlene Courtney and Mary Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Cates of Citrus Heights; and his children, Mike Trokey (Rhea) of Rapid City, Joanne Ries (Steve) of Citrus Heights, Rob Trokey (Giang) of Atlanta, Georgia and Tim Trokey (Julie) of Penryn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Folsom Church of Christ.
