It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jane (Beth) Moorhead (Nevada City, California), born in Clarendon, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sister Bonnie; her son Terry Smith (Anne); her husband Jack Moorhead; her son Garry Smith (Pam); her grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, Ryan, Michael (Misty) and Stephen; her stepchildren, Sue Moorhead and Gary Moorhead; her grandchildren, Larry (Theresa) and Natalie; her sister La Juan McCraw; and also, George and Bobby. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
She was very active in a number of Nevada County organizations, including the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hospice of the Foothills and Friends of Hospice.
