He is survived by: his wife Christa Heafey; his children, Codi Heafey and Max Bonito (Kristin); his granddaughter Evelyn Bonito; and his sisters, Shannon Friedberg (Steve Nightingale), Maureen Gerecke (Paul) and Linda Heafey (Dianne Richards). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
