He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Novak and Marie Novak; and his son Peter George Novak. He is survived by: his wife Nancy George; his son Sean; his daughter-in-law Francine Novak; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Sarah Novak of Napa, CA; his nieces, Rachel Novak and Rebecca Novak; and his cousin Dawn Smith (Sam Smith).
