Alberta Castleman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Castleman (Nevada City, California), born in Compton, California, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Buckley (Jim) and Margaret Buckley; her sister Betty Smith (Buckley); her son James; her husband Joseph Lucian Castleman; and her son Joseph Castleman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Silva (Edward) of Cloverdale, CA and Laura Castleman of Antelope, CA.; her grandsons, Charles Stuart (Diane) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Jim Stuart of Sebastopol, John Stuart (Cara) of Santa Rosa, CA, Justin Hudspeth (Benjamin) and Joseph Hudspeth (Lindsay) of Farmington, UT.; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Silva of Sonoma County, Elizabeth Smith (Michael) of Sonoma County and Edward Silva (Kalli Kay) of Sonoma County; her great grandchildren, Julie Stuart, Megan Jensen (Chris), Carly Stuart (Johnathan), Richard Stuart, Kimm Stuart Goodwin (Michael), Ivy Stuart, Scarlet Stuart, Henry Hudspeth, Amelia Hudspeth and Colin Hudspeth; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Madox, Macee, Malee and Madee Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Aidan, Aaron Goodwin and Sailor Stuart.
