He was predeceased by: his children, Linda M. Defichy (Nicholas Lukatchik) of Syracuse, NY and Edward M. Filsinger (Aurora) of National City, CA; and his stepson Steven Egner (Shelley) of Boston, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Pamela A. Revezzo (Angelo) of Hamburg, Victoria F. Pires (Alfred) of Punta Gorda, FL and William Filsinger (Azucena Sue) of Boylston, MA.; his stepson David Egner (Julie) of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Cassandra, Eileen, Rachel, Deanna, Sabrina, Elizabeth and Katherine; and his wife Joan Durrant. He is also survived by great grandchildren, brothers, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He donated countless hours of his time to projects at the church and keeping it in good repair.
