He is survived by: his parents, Frederick Gates and Leslie Gates; his sister Tiffany Kenny (Eric); his niece Ella; his brother Anson D'Agostino; his nephew Keaton; his brother Britton D'Agostino (Melissa); his niece Amber Grey; his grandparents, William and Judith Kennard; and his aunts and uncles, Catherine Cartier, Peter Gates (Doris), Adam Gates (Rachel) and Lisa Salem (John).
