He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stoddard Lane Jr. and Barbara Lane (Spaulding); his former wife Gail Morgan Lane; his wife Cynthia Lane of St. Helena, CA; his children, Sarah Lane of St. Helena, CA and Sebastian Lane (Estelle) of St. Helena, CA; his sister Elizabeth Cabot (Jeff) of Columbus, OH; his stepchildren, Leah Jaeger of San Diego, CA and William Jaeger (Leanne) of Port Orange, FL; his grandchildren, Marie-Marguerite, Sebastian Lane of St. Helena, CA and Charlie Rose Jaeger of Port Orange, FL.; and also Skipper.
No public services will be held and the family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the St. Helena Historical Society in his name.
