He is survived by: his wife Linda Fish; his daughters, Tonya Gonzalez (Edwin) of Napa, CA and Marcena Walther (Christopher) of Elk Grove; his nephew Paul Longaker (Becky) of Agency; his grandchildren, Graycen Wangeman (Mark), Briella Gonzalez of Napa, CA, Savannah Walther and Calleigh Walther of Elk Grove, CA.; and his sisters, Cheryl and Joyce Longaker.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tulocay Chapel (411 Coombsville Rd, Napa, CA 94558).

“so sorry to here about Roberts passing. we are 2nd cousins, but most of all friends.we would talk for hours about the old days, old car projects. we went through bladder cancer treatment at the same time. I will miss him and our talks. he was a good man.. my name is Ron Besco from Eddyville Iowa.about 25 miles from Hedrick ia. where Robert grew up.. I think we resembled each other. our wedding anniversaries are on the very same day, sept. 5 1970. again so sorry for your loss.”
