He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Barrera and Eustolia Barrera; and his brother Angel. He is survived by: his wife Stella; and his children, Rita, Octavio (Cecy) and Daniel. He is also survived by his six grandkids, four great grandchildren, his three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
