He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bannister and Vivian Bannister (Martin); and his niece Michelle Schuster. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Mike Bannister (Carolyn), Debbie Schorzman (Danny) and Terri Groat (David); his grandchildren, Barbara Wolfe (Danny), Katie Cutright (Eli), Abbie Bannister, Justin Schorzman (Kortne), Cassie Wilson (Daniel) and Patrick Groat; his siblings-in-law, Judy Calliham and Richard Calliham (Kathy); and his nephew Richard Calliham (Suzie). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
