He is survived by: his wife Caren Appleby of Fairfield, CA; his son Christopher Appleby; his parents, Patrick Appleby and Ruth Appleby of Yountville, CA; his brothers, Richard Appleby (Christina) of Napa, CA and Eric Appleby (Michela) of American Canyon, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Paige, Claire, Grace, Ryan and Emma.
