We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2018, at the age of 83, Joseph McCarthy (Napa, California), born in San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Claire McCarthy (Clancy); his sister Marie Dean; his stepfather John Arnold; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Geramoni, Ed Gulla, Emil Boitano and John Burton (Judy).
He is survived by: his parent Joseph Raphael McCarthy; his wife Barbara; his children, Joseph Michael McCarthy (Kristi), Theresa Heim (James), Michelle Benvenuto and Kristine Peck (Sam); his siblings, George McCarthy (Honey) and Patti Geramoni; his siblings-in-law, Al Dean, Paul Burton (Klara), Yvonne Gulla, Mary Lou Sorensen (Pete), Florence Boitano and Joan Rawlings (Gene); his grandchildren, Audrey, Joe, Sean, Vinnie, Dan (Jen) and Angela (Brian); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, John and Nora; and his close friend Bob Blackstone. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
