It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay A. Adams (Napa, California), born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie McSwain Butterfield and James Adams; his son-in-law Gregory Walter; his wife Elaine Adams; his daughters, Lisa Adams Walter and Laura; his son-in-law John Kostelac; his granddaughter Grace Walter; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Joan Butterfield; his sister Jil Jones; his niece Tiffany Jones Crumbley; his brother John P. Kostelac; and his sons-in-law, Charles D. Meng II, Thomas Neylan, MD, Robert Steinheimer (Bob) and Jerry Wagstaff.
Memorial donations may be made to the Semper Fi Fund or the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Ministry to the Armed Forces, in memory of Jay A. Adams.
