It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Christina Burkhard (Napa, California), born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 19, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Burkhard; and her parents, Fred Buob and Christina Buob. She is survived by: her children, Steve Burkhard (Paula) of Sparks, NV, Jim Burkhard (Michelle) of Lodi, Theresa Spahr of Woodland and Mary Blakley (Wayne) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Melissa Spahr (Kyle) of Baltimore, Katie Spahr of Boulder, Jillian Burkhard of Boulder, Garrett Burkhard of Lodi and Taylor Blakley of Fairfield; her brother Fred Buob; and her sister-in-law Patti Buob of Austin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
