She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Turner Burton Smith and Rebekah Lynch Smith; her siblings, Rebekah Smith Bogue, Dr. Turner Burton Smith, Jr. and Dr. William Russell Smith; and her husband Dana.
She is survived by: her friend Dana Gibson Leavitt; her children, Jonathan (Andrea) of San Anselmo, Fran, Dana, San Francisco and Margaret Leavitt (Alan Lilly) of Carmichael; her grandchildren, Charles Lilly (Jaime), Laura Lilly, Stanton Leavitt and Dana Elizabeth Leavitt; and her cousin Edwin P. Lynch (Leslie) of Lafayette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
