We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2024, at the age of 88, Dorothy Evelyn Story (Napa, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fetter and Rosetta Fetter; her daughter Linda Robertson; her brothers, William Fetter and Harold Fetter; and her nephew Robby Fetter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Story Stith (Philip D.) and Kathy Shuck (Jim); her grandchildren, Philip J. Stith (Katie), Jennifer Stith, Brian Stith (Kaylee), Sherry Pierce and Sean Shuck (Heather); her great grandchildren, JD, Addie, Lakelyn, Atlas, Ava, Kylie, Dakota, Cheyanne and Savannah; her nephews, Mike and Dan Fetter; her niece Diane Priewe; and her close friend Jeanie Bledsoe. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Tulocay Cemetery (411 Coombsville Rd, Napa, CA 94558).
Her resilience and courage in facing Parkinson's disease exemplified her enduring strength and determination, inspiring her doctors and everyone who knew her. In lieu of flowers, Dorothy requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Parkinson's Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
