She is survived by: her adoptive parents, George McDonald and Lorenne McDonald; her significant other Carol Llewellyn; her children, Mathew Akins (Joy Sabino), Julia Shone and Suzanne Benton; her son-in-law Tony Benton; and her grandchildren, Jake Benton (Kristen), Jessica Heinle (William), Elisa Akins, Olivia Akins, Steven Hanson, Athena Shone, Samantha Shone and Buzzy Shone.
