It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Shimmer (Napa, California), born in Anchorage, Alaska, who passed away on March 10, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Barragan and Hope Barragan-Barthel. She is survived by: her husband John P. Schimmer; her children, Eric (Stacy), Mari (Sarah Gillooly), Julie (Jason Roche) and Heather; her siblings, Randy Barragan and Christina McCarty; her grandsons, David, Sam Gallegos and Elijah Schimmer; and also Eric.
