“I was just thinking about Bernhold and was going to reach out to him. I was surprised when I read of his passing. I worked with Bernhold at the Forest Service Regional office in Vallejo and enjoyed his dry humor and his exceptional intellect. I also enjoyed the 1999 black ford pickup truck I purchased from him when he retired. He was a really good fellow and I am happy to have known him. I am sorry for your loss but have always said, "you aren't gone until no one remembers you" so won't forget..”
