He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna; his child Andrea (Christensen); his daughter-in-law Nancy of Los Angeles; his daughter Laura (Coovert); his son-in-law David of Corona, California; his siblings, Mary Dee Ricks of Murrieta, Ben Blair of Gardnerville and Kathy Moore of Santa Rosa, California; his grandchildren, Aimee Clark of Phoenix, Kyle Henkler of Minneapolis, Bobby Coovert of Corona, California and Lisa Coovert of Corona, California; his great grandchildren, Andre, Audreena and Andru; his parents, Andrew and Mary (Casas); and his son Stephen. He was also cherished by friends in both the Caribbean and the Pacific, participated in several offshore races, and never missed a chance to make a "Catalina Run", something he did more than once with his son.
