He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Purves and Genelle Purves; his stepson Frank Freeman; and his cousin Charlotte Nosler. He is survived by: his wife Joan Freeman; his friend Vera; his brother Mike Purves; his cousin Patrick Purves; his stepsons, Rowdy and John Freeman; and his granddaughter Jodie Veverka. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and longtime friends, neighbors and other relatives.
