He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Broomfield (Doll); his parents, Alex Broomfield and Hattie Broomfield; and his siblings, J. W. Broomfield, R. B. Broomfield, Rosevelt Broomfield, Alex Broomfield Jr., Dot Frazier, Hazel Thomas, Waylee Jackson and Grace Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Broomfield (James Thomas), Penny Coleman (Lewis) of Weed, Shirley Brown of Pittsburgh and Chester Broomfield (Isolina). He is also survived by grandkids and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law, and friends.
