William "Bill" Kenneth Regan Obituary

William "Bill" Kenneth Regan Jr, from Morro Bay, California, passed away on December 16, 2022.

He is survived by his wife Marlene; sons Will, Ben, and Ross; daughters-in-law Kelley, and Katelyn, and grandsons Liam and Luca. While Bill left us far too soon, as an international school PE teacher and swim coach, he is remembered for his adventurous spirit, fondness for swimming laps at Cuesta College and Morro Bay High School, and riding his bike all over the county and world. He inspired many to accomplish things they never thought they could do! Bill always found the best in everyone and found joy in others’ happiness.

Bill loved playing games and making others smile. The list of games could go on and on, from competitive bocce ball on the beach, pickleball in Morro Bay, cribbage, and dice games with family and friends around the dinner table. Somehow push-ups were involved.

Regan’s family will host a funeral service on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:00 am. The service will be at Saint Timothy’s Church in Morro Bay. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy or Doctors Without Borders in Bill’s name.
