She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dong Yong Kim; her children, Sung, Hae, Elise, Elliot, Samuel, Noah, Mattea, Melayna and Caden; and her parents, Byung Sung Ahn and Ha Bok Kim.
Even after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and going through chemo treatments, she still had the energy to walk 15, 000-20, 000 steps/day and continued to enjoy traveling until the COVID restrictions in 2020.
