He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hand of Puyallup, WA and Ramona Hand of Puyallup, WA; and his nephew Donald Emerson of Auburn, WA.. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Kuhn (Roger) of Ravenna; his grandchildren, Meghan Wiant (Tom) of Uniontown and Jonathan Kuhn of Akron; his great grandchild Evelyn Wiant (Evie) of Uniontown; his sisters, Carolyn Hand of Hoodsport and Shari Alexander (Gary) of Kent, WA; and his friends, Pete Portesi and Amy Portesi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
