He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Dormond Poe, Sr. and Marlene Poe (Alston); his grandmother Hazel Mathis (Logan); his sister Deborah Green; and his nephew Lamar Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brann Poe (Marcus) and Karyn Williams (Toivo); his granddaughter Lola Elizabeth Poe-Mayo; his siblings, Elwood "Woody" Poe and Patricia Poe; his nieces and nephews, Charles Green, Kenshon Whitherspoon, Keenan Patton, David Acevedo, Daniel Acevedo, Miles Willis, Marlene Green, Amber Tatum, Chelsea Tatum and Lauren Willis; and also Bryant Green.
