She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Chalmers and Morrison Chalmers. She is survived by: her husband Vance; her children, Jeannine (Steve), Greg (Denise) and Janice; her grandson Matthew (Adrienne); and her children, Jillian, Rory (Shannon), Ryan (Emma), Marissa (Sean), Natalie, Alexandra and Dominic (Amberly). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Donations can be made in her name to the First Presbyterian Church, or the Monterey Public Library.
