She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Yamato; and her parents, Masayuki Okumura and Shizuko Okumura. She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Jasmin (Tom); her sister Masako Linder (Paul); her nephew Matthew Linder (Jannet); and her great-nephews, Andrew and Thomas Linder. She is also survived by extended family members, friends, and relatives.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her funeral and burial services will be private.
