He was predeceased by: his parents, Yutaka Igawa and Masako Igawa; and his sister Sumiko Shimonaka. He is survived by: his wife Keiko; his children, Yoko Jennifer Igawa and Kenji Igawa; his siblings, Kiyoshi Igawa (Wakiko) and Margaret Momoyo; his brother-in-law Takami Shimonaka; and also Yasuda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
