He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Salter and Geraldine Salter. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Wade; his children, Denise (Joe Nulph), Richard (Patty Salter Jr.), Amy (Todd Tuggle) and Laura (Jerry Nance); his grandchildren, Richard Salter III, Phillip, Lisa Nulph, Ellen, John Hollander, Hayley Tuggle, Miles and James Salter; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Camden Nulph, Athena, Roma Hollander, Alana and Richard Salter IV; his brother Doug; and his sister-in-law Gayle Salter of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
