She is survived by: her children, Uma Dat, Ashok Kumar, Sheela Nand, Shushila Kumar, Sharmila Chand, Lalita Prasad, Salita Dean and Sushil Singh. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
