He is survived by: his parents, Magdalena Battig and Tony Battig; his siblings, Jonathan Battig (Maegan), Raphael Battig (Yolanda) and Alessandra Battig-Taylor (Brent); and his nieces and nephews, Kyler, Adelynn, Aaleyah, Landyn and Ivyn (Katie Cosner).
