He was predeceased by: his parents, Sedighe Nombre Yek and Hassan Mozaffari Moaref; his wife Rosa; and his siblings, Ghodsi, Marsieh, Mashoomeh, Mahin, Amir and Soroor.

He is survived by: his sons, Ernie, André (Diane) and Emil Mozaffari; his grandchildren, Branden Mozaffari and Chrissa Mozaffari Easter (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Oliver and Conner Easter; and his siblings, Batool, Ali, Mahmood, Tahereh, Naser, Maryam, Javad, Narges, Fatimah and Nasreen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
