With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Anita Reineke of Modesto, California, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Dennis and Sylvia Dennis; her brother Darryl; her sister-in-law Kathy Dennis; her former husband Merlyn C. Reineke; and also Merlyn D. Reineke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Silva (Kevin) of Modesto and Nancy Walsh (Michael) of Abilene, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Christopher Silva (Modesto), Elizabeth Silva (Modesto), Joshua Silva of Portland, OR, Amie Walsh (Merced), Matthew Walsh (Oakdale), Nicholas Reineke (Gaithersburg, MD), Genevieve and Alexander Reineke (Kensington, MD). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillview Funeral Chapel (450 W Las Palmas Ave, Patterson, CA 95363). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Modesto Covenant Church (913 Floyd Ave, Modesto, CA 95350).
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Community Hospice.
