She is survived by: her daughters, Arlinda Battiste (Kerry) and Caternia Metoyer; her son-in-law Kerry Battiste; her adoptive sons, Wil Verden and Dominique Mc Bride (Tasha); her siblings, Doris Sears, Ethel Taylor, Romalice Claiborne, Jr. (Robin) and Walter Claiborne (Alfreda); and her godchildren, Tonya Fletcher, Toreale Sears and Robert Claiborne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
